The CSU Student Experience

The CSU Student Experience looks at the CSU DI from the point of view of what the university would like to offer all students. It is important to remember that the driving force behind the CSU DI is providing all students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed and excel in their chosen profession.

You can also listen to Professor Ben Bradley speak about the broad aims of the CSUDI here.

The CSU Experience

The CSUDI is about fostering a quality student experience at CSU. It aims to achieve the following:

1. The CSUDI aims to provide CSU students with a coherent, consistent, planned, quality learning experience throughout their degree.

2. The CSUDI aims to create a unique and distinct "CSU student experience" through a planned approach to assessment, the first year, education for practice, blended and flexible learning, and Capstone experiences.

3. The CSUDI aims to create a unique and distinct "CSU student experience" through the deliberate "presence" of ethics, global citizenship, cultural competence, internationalisation, and environmental and social sustainability in every undergraduate degree.

4. The CSUDI aims to develop a shared sense of responsibility for planning the total student experience amongst those who coordinate and teach a course. This will be achieved through the introduction of a collaborative approach to curriculum renewal involving a Course Coordinator/Director, Course Team, and Teaching Team, to achieve course level planning as the context for subject level design.
